• Gloucestershire Hockey trials run from the start of September to the Start of October each season
• The selectors have a limited amount of time to make their selections – experience tells us that this is best done by observing players playing as much as we can – we do not keep detailed records of selection criteria or decisions.
• Where necessary, we share performance and attitude related information with schools, hockey clubs and talent academies.
• A selection decision can be appealed but this must be done via the organisation that nominated the player and not directly by parents or guardians.
• Gloucestershire Hockey tries to maintain a balance of players from a number of different hockey clubs wherever possible.
